Break On Through to the Other Side -- Readers' Version

Doug: A week ago Tuesday we had some fun looking at comic book covers where a character, characters, or a scene from within seem to burst the bounds of the magazine. Our readers made some great suggestions in the comments section, so we're going to give everyone their due and present those nominations today.

Nice work from Starlin & Sinnott on that Mighty World Of Marvel Cover!

Really like that New Titans #61 cover. Totally captures the feeling of a single frame being pulled from a piece of film-- a snapshot of a living, moving moment.

Boy, I do have several of these issues.

I'm sure I have X-Men Ann #10-- don't have any memory of it-- but that cover makes me hate it right off the bat. . .

That X-men Annual isn't that bad, and that art, by Adams (Arthur) and Austin, is actually pretty nice.

Art Adams is in its favor, true-- but I'm seein' those "Li'l X-Men" on the cover, and it's making my stomach clench. Again, I don't remember them one whit. . . but still. . .
